In most cases, an asterisk (*) indicates the required information on a form. You may choose to provide additional information within fields that are not required. You may complete a form or send us an e-mail to: request a user account; download information, models or other software; report a technical issue; request information;; ask a question; or make a comment or suggestion. We may use the information provided to respond to your inquiry or suggestion, contact you about your request, ask a question, provide announcements about product updates and contact you for other reasons related to offering and improving our services.

In addition to the uses discussed above, we also may use the personal information you provide on our Sites to comply with or enforce applicable legal requirements, industry standards, and our policies and terms. In addition, we may use the information we obtain through the Sites in other ways for which we provide specific notice at the time of collection.

When you visit our Sites, we may collect certain information by automated means, using technologies such as cookies, and web server logs. Cookies are files that websites send to your computer or other Internet-connected device to identify your browser uniquely or to store information or settings in your browser. Your browser may tell you when you receive certain types of cookies and how to restrict or disable certain cookies. Please refer to your own browser's instructions for information on those functions.  Please note, however, that without cookies you may not be able to use all of the features of our Sites.

Our web servers may log information such as your operating system type, browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone where your device is located. The web server logs also may record information such as the address of the web page that referred you to our Sites and the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet. They may also log information about your interaction with the Sites, such as which pages you visit.

We may use information collected online through automated means to help diagnose technical and service problems, administer the Sites, and identify visitors to the Sites.

Your browser settings may allow you to transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to websites and online services you visit. Like many other websites and online services, we do not currently process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals from your browser or to other mechanisms that enable choice. Please note that, while we do not process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals, we do not permit third parties to collect your personally identifiable information (PII) and track your activity over time and across third-party websites or online services.

Information We Share

We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal information we collect on our Sites, except as described here. We may share personal information we collect on the Sites with service providers that perform services on our behalf. We do not authorize those service providers to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements.

This web site is sponsored by the US Department of Defense, the US Air Force, and the US Navy (“the Sponsors”). We may share information with one or more of these Sponsors on users, usage patterns and other information related to how the web site meets the Sponsors’ objectives.

In addition, we may disclose personal information about you (i) if we are required to do so by law or legal process (such as court order or subpoena), (ii) to law enforcement authorities or other government officials, (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or (iv) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity. We reserve the right to transfer personal information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a reorganization, dissolution, or liquidation). Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use personal information you have provided to us in a manner consistent with our Online Privacy Notice.

Your Rights and Choices

We offer you certain choices about how we communicate with you and what information we obtain from you. As required by applicable law, you may withdraw consent you previously provided to us. We will apply your preferences going forward. You may exercise these choices by advising us of your preferences by e-mail, or contacting us as specified in the “How to Contact Us” section below. You may also, at any time, object on legitimate grounds and free of charge to the processing of your personal information.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive information about the personal information we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal data, and have the information blocked or deleted, as appropriate. The right to access personal information may be limited in some circumstances by local law requirements.
